Step2 is the largest American manufacturer of preschool and toddler toys and is headquartered in Streetsboro, Ohio.  In 1991 Thomas Murdough, the founder of the Little Tikes company founded Step2 with 5 employees and grew the company to the now over 800 plus employees that is has today.

The Step2 Company manufactures and markets a variety of plastic toys for children, as well as home and garden products. Some of its other products include art desks, easels, and easel and desk combos; indoor play products, including train tables, toy figures, role play toys, and play sets; baby carriers, infant toys, learning toys, and baby play mats; and home and garden products, such as work seats, mailboxes, storage products, and trash cans. The company also produces educational toys under the Thinkativity brand name.
